Department of Sport Physiology
Exercise Physiology Discipline
It is the basic of the science of exercise, and it is one of the oldest branches of sports sciences.
How to program sport exercises based on measured benchmarks of individuals desiring to achieve success and specific sport goals, study the effect of sports on cell and molecule tissues, body composition, sport nutrition and metabolism, are specific to this discipline.
This discipline has the following sub-disciplines:
1. Body and health physiology
2. Applied exercise physiology
3. Pure physiology of physical activity
4. Sport nutrition
The purpose of establishing MA degree in Exercise Physiology is to nurture the elite and specialized individuals in order to be able to train, plan, implement and analyze problems and research in this field, and by producing new scientific findings, the basics of Exercise Physiology and development of borders of knowledge can be achieved.
